The Lane
A narrow lane carved through the dense woods serves as the sole access to many hidden treasures tucked away in the enchanting landscapes of southeastern Ohio. This particular path has the honor of being the artist's private driveway. One of my absolute favorite paintings created by my talented friend Lynn Fraelich captures this essence beautifully. The foggy morning scene artfully depicts a rustic dirt road or lane winding through the trees during the fleeting transition of late autumn into early winter. The artwork features a captivating palette of various blues and blue grays, which are skillfully accented here and there with vibrant golds and warm oranges, as the soft morning sun filters through the ethereal fog blanketing the woods.
