QUIET
About 6am on a foggy Coshocton County morning found me standing on a quiet dirt road somewhere in the serene Mill Creek Township. As I gazed out, I watched the sun begin its ascent, trying its best to burn a hole through the thick veil of fog that surrounded me. The image that appeared as it came from the camera looked almost entirely monotone, void of all vibrant color and life. Where the sun was peeking through, it revealed only a bright spot in the mist, a suggestion of warmth in a cool atmosphere. The sun was later added to the scene, along with very pale yellows and soft pinks, to give the image a gentle, glowing color that evoked a sense of calm and serenity.
