Lynn Fraelich

Lynn carries a vibrant legacy of creativity, lit by the artistic spark passed down from her mother. With oils as her primary brush, she playfully flits among a delightful array of mediums—acrylics stomp about, gouache splashes joyfully, and colored pencil and graphite dance gracefully on paper. Her heart thrives on the smiles of others, as she captures cherished places and beloved pets in her commissions. Lynn’s latest creation is a series of original cartoonish tree drawings. Lynn said she imagines faces and bodies in the trees she sees on her walks. In the last couple of months her trees have become very popular with visitors to Foothills Gallery. I can’t tell you how much that the imagination it takes to visualize and then put that idea on paper impresses me.

But wait—there's more! Recently, she sprinkled her imaginative dust on two enchanting children's books, weaving stories with her visuals. When she’s not painting, Lynn immerses herself in the community, bringing her passion and energy to her church and serving as the Secretary of the Coshocton Art Guild. At the Foothills Studio and Gallery in Coshocton, Ohio, she turns the act of painting into a vibrant conversation, effortlessly blending her craft with connection. Every stroke tells a story, and every chat breathes life into her art!
